By Rev Willem Glashouwer.. If there is anything that people want to have is peace! Peace in your heart, peace in your home, peace in your family and peace in your country. No more wars! But when you look at the world around you there is conflict wherever you look!  Will there be peace in the future? Now, let’s focus on the future and see what the Bible has to say about these things! Rev Willem Glashouwer explains what Jesus is saying about the future in Matthew 24 and about the promises that the angel Gabriel made to Mary in de Book of Luke. (more…)

Yom ha Shoah and Hope through a barmitzva

editor 11 April 2013
By Sheila Raviv.. Yom HaShoah ve HaGvura 28th Nissan, 5773 – Day of Remembrance for the Holocaust and its Heroism.
The Nazis yelled “Go back to Jerusalem” to us – now their heirs yell “Go back to Europe”. Never Again becomes little more than a knee-jerk reaction, because it is again, it is happening again and an entire nation is again threatening to murder 6 million Jews just because they are Jews. They have followed the same pattern of dehumanisation through cartoons and schoolbooks; they don’t have black shirts or brown shirts and they are Teutonic in their precision but they have learned a great deal from the perpetrators of the Holocaust that they so vehemently deny. Focus On The Future (Series 2, Episode 4)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 5 March 2013

We are living in the final days of this phase of world history. And the Bible calls these days the last days. And the last hour of these last days will be characterized by the coming of a figure that the Bible calls the antichrist. The lawless one, the beast, as the apostle John speaks about him. There is something that is restraining him, holding him back, so that evil cannot fully come to the surface that not the powers of darkness can take over yet. So he cannot yet manifest himself. But one day he will. In Rev. 13:7 you can read that one day he will have full control over all the nations, the tribes, the languages of the world. What kind of an empire will the empire of antichrist be? What is the meaning of the word “antichrist”? (more…)

How do you interpret Matthew 24:32-35?

editor 21 November 2012

By J.R. Hall.. Probably a little differently than others you may ask this same question. Many prophecy commentators would relate this set of passages directly to the rebirth of Israel. The justification for this lies in Hosea 9:10 where we read, “I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season”. (more…)

Lance Lambert’s Prophetic Message Given at Mount Carmel, April 1986

editor 21 November 2012

By Lance Lambert.. It will not be long before there will come upon the world a time of unparalleled upheaval and turmoil. Do not fear; it is I the LORD who am shaking all things. I began this shaking with the First World War,and I greatly increased it through the Second World War. Since 1973 I have given it an even greater impetus. In the last stage, I plan to complete it with the shaking of the universe itself, with signs in sun and moon and stars. But before that point is reached I will judge the nations, and the time is near. (more…)

Focus on the future (11-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 5 November 2012

We are looking at what will happen to planet earth. What will happen to you and me? What will happen to mankind? What will happen to creation itself? There’s one book in the whole world that tells exactly what will happen in the future. No, not in the way that you have a kind of order of events that you can predict everything in: this first, then that, no! It gives you pictures, prophetic pictures of true things that will happen in the future. There are many books on prophecy and most of them have this order of events. One says: first this and then that. The other one says: no, no, no, first this and then that! They fight with one another. Stop doing that! Simply pick up your Bible and read the prophecies and ask God: “God what is happening today?” (more…)

The ingathering: Operation Dove to bring home last of Ethiopian Jews

editor 31 October 2012

By Ryan Jones.. Israel this week officially launched “Operation Dove” to bring home the last of Ethiopia’s Jews. The first flight in Operation Dove landed in Tel Aviv on Monday with 240 of Ethiopia’s “Falash Mura.”

The Falash Mura are part of an Ethiopian tribe that long went by the name of “Beta Israel” – the House of Israel. Sometime during the past two centuries, a large number of Beta Israel tribesmen converted to Christianity. For some the conversion was forced, for others adopting Christianity was the only way to gain full human rights. (more…)

What do you consider to be the Second Most Important Sign?

editor 31 October 2012

By J.R. Hall.. At first thought the apostasy of the Church came to mind, because of all the rash of weird and unscriptural movements such as the Emerging Church, the Word of Faith, Yoga and mysticism entering the church, but honestly I think the most prominent ‘second’ sign is that as defined in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 which does in fact contain elements of the falling away of the Church. The Birth of Israel

editor 31 October 2012

The most important sign of the times is without any doubt the birth of the state of Israel on the 14th of May 1948. Therefore the following video starts with Isaiah 66:8. “Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”
More than sixty years of war, many terror attacks and military actions. Thousands of deaths. Israel is always in the news. So often that we don’t even notice it. How did it come this far? What would it be like to live in Israel? (more…)

Focus on the Future (9-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 24 October 2012

What will the future bring? Well, only the One that holds the future knows what the future will bring! And that is the Creator of heaven and earth. And He revealed what will happen in the future, to the prophets of the Bible. The Bible is the only book of all religions that contains prophecy. Not in vague terms, like there was in the 16th, 17thcentury a man by the name of Nostradamus. He wrote all kind of vague future prophecies and people still are reading and studying it, what did he mean by this and what did he mean by that? No! Prophecy in the Bible is history written in advance! And the Bible contains prophecy for over a third of this whole book. It is prophecy, telling what the future will bring. And the greatest prophet of them all is Jesus Christ. (more…)
