UK Textbook Wipes Israel Off the Map

editor 3 January 2013

By Samuel Westrop.. Why is the British Council, sponsored by the British Foreign Office, endorsing a textbook that wipes Israel off the map and indoctrinates students with anti-Western material? Ahmadinejad promised it. Now British textbooks are doing it. Israel has been wiped off the map by Garnet Education, an English-language teaching company in Britain, whose educational textbook ‘Skills in English Writing Level 1′, aimed at foreign students and immigrants to the UK, contains a map with “Occupied Palestine” in place of the Jewish State.

Settling the Land?

editor 3 January 2013

By Lonnie C. Mings.. If Israelis—be they “settlers” in the usual sense or not—build their homes in territory that does not fall within the area allotted to Israel in the 1947 UN partition of “Palestine,” they are judged by the world to be illegally occupying someone else’s land. The settlers, on the other hand, believing they were enabled by the grace of God to return to their erstwhile homeland, feel they have a biblical mandate to cover the land with their homes and institutions. In response, the world cries “foul!” (more…)

Abbas’ Christmas message of hate and hypocrisy

editor 19 December 2012

Mahmoud Abbas has written a “Christmas Message from Palestine to the Christians of the World” which may be the most hypocritical thing he has ever done. And that’s saying a lot. First he says that Israeli settlements are making the life of residents of Bethlehem a “living hell.” He goes on to say: (more…)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 21 November 2012

“…But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and He will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in safety. Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as A DWELLING FOR HIS NAME—there you shall bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and the special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the Lord. And there rejoice before the Lord your God, you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants…” (Deuteronomy 12:10-12) (more…)

The Coming Kingdom (2-10)

editor 19 November 2012

By Dr. Andy Woods..  Because the contemporary evangelical world is engulfed in the idea that the church is presently experiencing the messianic kingdom, we began a series of studies chronicling what the Bible teaches concerning this important issue of the kingdom. After distinguishing the universal kingdom from the theocratic kingdom, we observed that the notion of a coming messianic kingdom begins as early as Genesis One. (more…)

Focus on the future (1-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 30 August 2012

People are living their lives and are concerned about their plans and the things they encounter in everyday life. But the future is coming towards us and in order to be prepaired for it we really should look at the prophecies of the Bible. Because the Bible is the only book that really speaks very clearly about the things that happen in the future. Jesus speaks of the signs of the times in Matthew 24. (more…)
