Answer to prayer after Paris “Peace” Conference

editor 23 January 2017

By Christians for Israel International.. Seventy nations met in Paris (Sunday January 15, 2017) and signed a Joint Declaration in which they called on Israel and the Palestinians to re-commit themselves to the “two states” solution which they say is the “only way to achieve enduring peace”. The declaration, which was perhaps less problematic for Israel than anticipated, has no binding force. But it does have a strong political significance because it supports Security Council resolution 2334 that declared ALL Israeli settlements (= Jews) “illegal”, and will only strengthen the desire of many nations to ensure that a Palestinian state is created. Top 10 Reasons Not to Go to Paris

editor 23 January 2017

By Paula R. Stern.. Paris is supposed to be an amazing city. I was there once. For 24 hours. It wasn’t great. The people were really nasty – from the snotty municipal worker who refused to give me directions because my French wasn’t accented properly, to the inconsiderate cleaner at the airport who carefully smashed her broom into garbage cans near benches where people were sleeping, but quietly circled the cans where the benches were empty (I kid you not…we watched this for 15 minutes till we realized and confirmed the pattern). Maybe they just don’t like tourists. Maybe they don’t like Americans. Or maybe they just don’t like Jews. Who knows? (more…)

Liberman Dubs Paris Peace Conference ‘Modern Day Dreyfus Trial’

editor 11 January 2017

By Gil Hoffman and Rina Bassist.. Speaking at an Yisrael Beytenu faction meeting, Liberman cautioned against the purpose and timing of the conference, comparing it to the historical antisemitic trial. The Middle East peace conference planned by the French for January 15 will be similar to the antisemitic trial of French Jewish artillery officer Alfred Dreyfus in 1894, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman told his Yisrael Beytenu faction Monday (January 9, 2017). An urgent call to prayer on behalf of Israel

editor 10 January 2017

By Christians for Israel International.. These are momentous times for Israel and the Jewish people. On 23rd December 2016, the UN Security Council condemned all Jews living in the old city of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as “illegal”. In a speech just a few days later, U.S. Secretary of State Kerry’s speech again condemned Jewish “settlements” and called on the international community to divide the land of Israel and ensure the creation of new State of Palestine with its capital in Jerusalem. This Palestinian State is apparently going to solve the Israel/Palestine conflict and usher in world peace and security. (more…)

January 15th 2017: 70 Nations Will Gather In Paris For Palestinian State

editor 9 January 2017

By Lance Goodall.. On January 15th, representatives from 70 different countries will gather in Paris, France for an unprecedented global conference.  The stated goal of this conference is to promote a “two-state solution” as the way that lasting peace will be brought to the Middle East.  In Israel, there is a tremendous amount of concern that whatever is agreed upon at this conference will immediately be used as the basis for a UN Security Council resolution that would permanently divide the land of Israel and create a Palestinian state.  But things would have to move very rapidly in order for that to happen, because Barack Obama’s time in the White House comes to an end on January 20th, and Donald Trump has already made it exceedingly clear that he would never support such a resolution. For Parisian Jews this holiday, celebrating Hanukkah is a miracle

editor 10 December 2015

By Greg Scruggs.. PARIS – Heavily armed police officers mingled with parents pushing strollers and curious onlookers Sunday night as the Parisian Jewish community held its 27th annual Hanukkah menorah lighting at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Following the November 13 terrorist attacks that paralyzed Paris, French authorities declared an “état d’urgence,” which on paper includes a ban on public gatherings. Call it a Hanukkah miracle, but despite the ongoing state of emergency, the Festival of Lights arrived in the City of Light. (more…)
