Obama “inspired” Muslim Prayer Rally

A massive first-of-its-kind national Muslim prayer gathering is planned for September 25, 2009, on the west front of the Capitol building in Washington D.C. More than 50,000 people are expected to attend the “Our Day Has Come” event from mosques all across America. Organizers said Obama’s inauguration speech in January and his June message from Cairo gave them the idea for this prayer rally on Capitol Hill. (more…)

Israel would be the only country where the American flag is rarely (if ever) burned in protest, and avenues in major American cities are named for Yitzhak Rabin and Golda Meir. Arguably, we thought, there is no alliance in the world today more durable and multifaceted than that between the United States and Israel.

Obama slammed as `racist` at Jerusalem rally

President Obama`s policies against Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank were slammed as “racist”  by participants in a rally drawing about 2,000 Israelis in front of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem. Speaking at the rally, Rabbi Eliezer Waldman, who heads the prestigious “Nir” Torah seminary in the West Bank city of Kiryat Arba, called Obama a “racist.”

Can Obama tell Jews where and when to stop building homes in Israel?

Barack Obama has ordered Israel to freeze all settlement activity, while refusing to endorse a deal made by President Bush to allow for natural growth.
The Bush-deal was confirmed by Ariel Sharon’s aide, Doc Weinglass, in 2005, and by Elliott Abrams, former deputy national security advisor to Bush who reportedly negotiated the arrangement. The deal was in line with an official letter from Bush which stated Israel cannot be expected to withdraw from the entire West Bank and that the Jewish state would retain major settlement blocs there.
