Signs to Look For

editor 14 March 2013

By CFI Jerusalem.. How can we truly know we are in the time of His Coming? First, the nation of Israel is back in her Land. Yeshua cannot return before the Jewish people return and become a nation again in their own Land. According to Jewish sages, the 9th century work of Rabbi Eliezer foretold that “just before the coming of the Messiah, ‘Ishmael’ will rise in power to terrorize the world. Secondly, he said, “the King of Persia (Iran) is going to have a weapon that is going to terrorize the world. (more…)

Video teaching: Why End Times?

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 27 November 2012

When did the end times start? They started when Jesus Christ was born, from a woman born under Torah. Jesus told the people in His days, in Matthew 16:3, “You can understand the signs of the weather. About the sun and the rain, but do you understand the signs of the time?” He blamed them for it. There is a difference between Mark and Matthew on the one hand, and Luke on the other. Jesus was speaking about that particular time, about the coming destruction of Jerusalem. Matthew and Mark look further. Jesus also speaks about that time in the future, with Jerusalem in the center. Focus on the future (1-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 30 August 2012

People are living their lives and are concerned about their plans and the things they encounter in everyday life. But the future is coming towards us and in order to be prepaired for it we really should look at the prophecies of the Bible. Because the Bible is the only book that really speaks very clearly about the things that happen in the future. Jesus speaks of the signs of the times in Matthew 24. (more…)

Christ became a servant of the Jews, so that the Gentiles may glorify God

Andrew Tucker 21 December 2011

As we Christians celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ in the coming days, let us remember that Jesus came “as a servant of the circumcision [i.e. the Jewish nation], on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs, so that the Gentiles may glorify God for His mercy” (Romans 15:8). We Gentile believers need to remind ourselves that we owe our faith, our salvation, our calling and our hope to the Jewish people. Abraham was called so that all nations would be blessed. Their fall enabled the reconciliation of the world. And their restoration will bring life from the dead (Romans 11). (more…)

Lance Lambert Audio: The Spirit of God and Israel (1990)

editor 26 October 2011

By Lance Lambert.. Many Bible scholars claim the restoration of Israel has nothing to do with the Spirit of God. Lace expounds from Zechariah 12 and 14 shows the literal coming of the Messiah to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It is a burden of the Word of the Lord concerning Israel… therefore we must sit up and listen to it. (more…)
