Does Israel’s Massive Drought Mean Messiah Will Arrive on a White Donkey?

editor 6 December 2016

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz.. “Then hear Thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of Thy servants, and of Thy people Yisrael, when Thou teachest them the good way wherein they should walk; and send rain upon Thy land, which Thou hast given to Thy people for an inheritance.” I Kings 28:36. There hasn’t been a drop of rain in Northern Israel for more than eight months and as meteorologists present dire forecasts, Jews who look to the heavens for a divinely-inspired understanding are getting answers that lead them to a deeper understanding of how the Messiah will arrive. A big, untold story

editor 1 October 2015

By Joel C. Rosenberg.. Since last Yom Kippur (2014), millions of Jews have begun searching for the Messiah, and for atonement for their sins. The media isn’t reporting this. But it’s worth examining. At sundown (September 23, 2015), we begin Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. This is the highest holy day on the Jewish calendar, and one of great Biblical and historic and cultural importance to my people. (more…)

editor 31 July 2015

By Joel C. Rosenberg.. (Denver, Colorado) — In my recent novel, The Third Target, a New York Times reporter  criss-crosses the Middle East, trying to understand and explain to the world the rise of the Islamic State and the objectives of its leaders. Among the questions my fictional character — J.B. Collins — is trying to answer: (more…)

The scorn of the nations Israel has to suffer

editor 4 February 2015

By Rev Henk Poot.. There once was a time when the world was moved by the Jewish people. Survivors returned from the hell of the Holocaust into the Promised Land. The Jewish people was like a burning stick snatched from the fire (Zechariah 3:2). People admired that little nation that remained standing so bravely. Christians saw the hand of God and the fulfilment of what the prophets had once foretold. But times have changed. (more…)

By C4Israel International.. Today’s video in this new and second series of “Jews and Christians, What Binds Us Together?” is about the identity and the calling of Jesus Christ. Rabbi Chaim Eisen and Andrew Tucker put the question on the table whether Jews and Christians can have a meaningful conversation about this. On what level can we meaningfully discuss the issues of the Bible? (more…)

Watchmen from Jerusalem

editor 5 December 2013

By Chuck and Karen Cohen.. As Bible believers, it is amazing and frustrating to perceive what is happening in the world today while all the ‘wise and mighty’ act like fools. We see Satan trying to destroy Israel. We see the ascent of the humanistic spirit, crushing all foes in a post-Christian West, preparing the way for the ultimate Humanist, the Anti-Christ, Mr. ‘666’ = ‘Man-Man-Man’. And we see the Spirit of Islam’s lies blinding the West into thinking of it as a religion of peace. (more…)

Until…

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 16 August 2013

Living in the Resurrection, until…

In catechism I occasionally asked the students: where is heaven? There was always a courageous student who put up a hand and proffered an answer: “umm, I think…where the universe ends… Reverend..?” I would reply: “yes, there too..! But, put out your hand, and you’ve streched your hand right into heaven..” (more…)

Signs to Look For

editor 14 March 2013

By CFI Jerusalem.. How can we truly know we are in the time of His Coming? First, the nation of Israel is back in her Land. Yeshua cannot return before the Jewish people return and become a nation again in their own Land. According to Jewish sages, the 9th century work of Rabbi Eliezer foretold that “just before the coming of the Messiah, ‘Ishmael’ will rise in power to terrorize the world. Secondly, he said, “the King of Persia (Iran) is going to have a weapon that is going to terrorize the world. (more…)
