The Maturation of Indo-Israeli Ties

By P.R. Kumaraswamy.. Since their establishment in January 1992, Israeli-Indian relations have improved dramatically. Israel has emerged as a major Indian trading partner in the Middle East with bilateral trade rising from a meager US$100 million to over $6.6 billion. Cooperation in the military-security arena has similarly grown and there are widespread popular exchanges between the people of the two countries. The Israeli ambassador is the most sought after diplomat in New Delhi after his U.S. counterpart, and Indo-Israeli ties seem extraordinarily robust. Yet failure to acknowledge the limitations of this relationship would be costly. (more…)

Israel’s LEGAL RIGHT to Judea and Samaria under International Law

Believe it or not… Israel’s Legal Right to Samaria is enshrined in International Law! A cold, hard look at the law reveals an undeniable if inconvenient (for some) truth: Israel and the Jewish People have full sovereign rights to Judea and Samaria. A fair and objective analysis of the various post-WWI agreements, decisions, conferences, treaties, declarations, covenants and conventions regarding the Question of Palestine (not to be confused with today’s made-up “Palestine” that the “Palestinians” claim as theirs) can only lead to this conclusion. Israeli hackers strike back

Last week international computer hackers operating under the umbrella group Anonymous threatened to “erase Israel from the Internet” in a massive coordinated attack scheduled for today. By mid-morning Sunday, that attack had largely failed, and Israeli hackers had scored some blows of their own against the foreign assailants. (more…)

Norwegian MP says government “indirectly” funds terrorism

By Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik.. Norwegian state-owned NRK TV launched an inquiry into Norway’s support of the PA’s general budget. The PA uses this budget to pay salaries of all Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails for security offenses. Palestinian Media Watch has reported that the recipients of the monthly salary include all imprisoned terrorists including those serving multiple life sentences for murder. 10,000 Palestinians attend Jaradat’s funeral

By Zoe Winograd.. The funeral of Palestinian detainee Arafat Shalish Shahin Jaradat was attended by over 10,000 Palestinians today.

People in the crowd were waving flags and handing out leaflets urging a response to Jaradat’s death which, the Palestinian Authority has claimed, was a result of torture. (more…)

Japan: Hitler comics OUT, Bible comics IN

Israeli Ambassador to Japan Nissim Ben Shetreet was recently shocked to find the shelves of a popular bookstore at a Tokyo subway station stocked with comic books (Manga) providing an illustrated look at the life and actions of Adolf Hitler. After doing some minor investigating, Ben Shetreet found that the book was actually a version of Hitler’s Mein Kampf illustrated for children as a comic book. Iranian terror plots against Israelis exposed in Nigeria and Cyprus

By Amir Mizroch and News Agencies.. The two disrupted terror plots are the latest in a string of attacks, some foiled, others not, hatched by Iran against Israeli targets around the globe, including in India, Bulgaria, Thailand, Kenya and Azerbaijan. Hezbollah agents use Australian, Canadian, Swedish passports to travel in Europe.

New government in Israel opportunity for fresh start with Turkey?

By Sinem Tezyapar.. Two days before the last election in Israel, Turkish and Israeli politicians made an appearance on Turkey’s A9 TV and expressed the necessity of solving differences with love, friendship and brotherhood.

The Israeli delegation, composed of a former government minister and two prominent members of the ultra-Orthodox Shas Party, was met by founders and former lawmakers from Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party. The televised gathering was hosted by Adnan Oktar, a prominent Turkish Muslim scholar who has been outspoken on good relations between Israel and the Muslim world. (more…)
