‘Ex-Muslim’ preaches the Gospel

editor 9 April 2013

By Linda Gradstein/The Media Line.. Palestinian convert to Christianity hosts Evangelical TV show. When Hazem Farraj was 15, he became a Christian. But as a Palestinian Muslim living in east Jerusalem, he couldn’t tell anyone, especially his father. “For almost three years I was an underground believer,” Farraj told The Media Line during a visit to Jerusalem. “I would go to the local mosque and to the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and pray Islamically, but in my heart I was praying to Jesus.” (more…)

WJC ANALYSIS – Obama in Israel: A new beginning?

editor 20 March 2013

By Pinhas Inbari.. President Obama is expected to make his first official presidential visit to Israel this week. It is widely assumed that the main issue the President will discuss with the Israeli government will be nuclear Iran. However, it is not known to what extent the Palestinian issue will be discussed, if at all. While the president is keeping the cards close to his chest, it is worth examining the past four years of the Obama administration in order to gage his perspective on the issue. (more…)

Replacement Theology: Time To Repent (Part 4)

editor 25 January 2013

By Rev Willem Glashouwer.. Christian Persecution

Think about the behavior of the ‘Christian’ knights during the medieval Crusades, in which they wrested the holy places from Islam and ruled over the Holy Land for two hundred years. When they conquered the city of Jerusalem, they drove out the Jews who lived there, men, women, children, and old people, into the Great Synagogue and set fire to it, burning them alive, and the next day they celebrated Holy Communion. And they also slaughtered Muslims by the thousands in their Crusades against Islam, from 1096 – 1291 AD. (more…)

Syrian Islamists declare independence

editor 28 November 2012

By Ryan Jones.. Just as with Egypt, Syria’s “Arab Spring” revolution is looking as though it will end with the creation of a new Islamic state. On Monday November 26th 2012, the more radical of the Islamist factions taking part in Syria’s civil war posted a video online in which they declared the northern city of Aleppo to be independent from the regime in Damascus. ”We are the representatives of the fighting formations in Aleppo and we declare our rejection of the conspiratorial project, the so-called national alliance,” said the rebels, referring to the Western-backed Syrian National Coalition. ”We have unanimously agreed to urgently establish an Islamic state,” the video concluded. Focus on the Future (10-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 31 October 2012

What will happen next? What will the future of the world be? There’s one book that speaks very clearly about the future of the planet earth, about the future of the nations, about the future of Israel and about the future of you and me personally.  The Bible speaks about wars in the end time, coming more and more to the Middle East. And when you look at the map of the Middle East and you read the names of the nations that will be involved in attacks on Israel, you suddenly realize that all these nations and all the former soviet republics and even half of Africa and even the southern part of Asia, like Pakistan, the half of China, maybe a third of China, when religion is free there, will appear to be Muslim, and Malaysia, Indonesia. Focus on the future (6-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 3 October 2012

What will happen in your life? What will happen on planet earth? There is one book that speaks very clearly about all of this and that book is the Bible. The greatest prophet that has ever been is Jesus Christ. And He speaks about that future. There is a beautiful chapter in the New Testament, Matthew 24, where He sums up all the things that will happen to planet earth, before He comes in glory! He is speaking of wars and rumours of wars, martyrdom, earthquakes, famine and lawlessness. He’s speaking of a dark period that will come over the planet that has never been there and after that never will be there again. But He has positive signs as well. (more…)

Focus on the future (3-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer 12 September 2012

What will the future bring to me personally and to planet Earth? Today we hear a lot about climate change. Earth is heating up, so the scientists say. The ice at the north and south poles is melting and the sea level is rising, slowly but steadily. The average temperature is rising. Does the Bible talk about these phenomena?

In the book of Revelation, in Rev 16, it says the following. The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun and the sun was given power to scorch the people with fire. (more…)

Brotherhood taking total control of Egypt

editor 4 September 2012

By Zvi Mazel.. With rise of Morsy, a new dictatorship may be replacing the old while the world persists in looking for signs of pragmatism.

While the world persists in looking for signs of pragmatism in the Egyptian president, Mohamed Morsy is quietly taking over all the power bases in the country. Having gotten rid of the army old guard, he replaced them with his own men – officers belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood or known sympathizers. Jerusalem’s Jewish Link: Historic, Religious, Political

editor 21 August 2012

By Eli E. Hertz.. For more than 3,000 years, the Jewish people have looked to Jerusalem as their spiritual, political, and historical capital, even when they did not physically rule over the city. Throughout its long history, Jerusalem has served, and still serves, as the political capital of only one nation – the one belonging to the Jews. (more…)
