By Rev Willem Glashouwer.. We have to study the larger end-time picture, before placing  the Middle Eastern wars under the magnifying glass. Then we will know where we are heading for. The unfolding of this phase of world history is at hand. We are rapidly approaching the appearance of the final world empire. Everything that once was in the Biblical Empires of the past (Daniel 2) will be appearing once again on the world-scene, all united and condensed within this final empire. (more…)

75 years after Anschluss, Nazi ‘Shadows’ haunt Austria

On the anniversary of the country’s union with Hitler, a former child refugee preps for the premiere of her long-gestating film. As a little girl in 1940, Gita Kaufman escaped Vienna with her family at the last possible moment. Austria had been under German control for two years, following the bloodless “Anschluss,” or union, of March 12, 1938. The annexation was a boon to Nazi anti-Jewish policy, as the largely affluent Jewish community of Vienna fell into German hands. (more…)

Focus on the future (6-12)

What will happen in your life? What will happen on planet earth? There is one book that speaks very clearly about all of this and that book is the Bible. The greatest prophet that has ever been is Jesus Christ. And He speaks about that future. There is a beautiful chapter in the New Testament, Matthew 24, where He sums up all the things that will happen to planet earth, before He comes in glory! He is speaking of wars and rumours of wars, martyrdom, earthquakes, famine and lawlessness. He’s speaking of a dark period that will come over the planet that has never been there and after that never will be there again. But He has positive signs as well. (more…)

ECI calls on the EU to host an emergency conference to address the safety and security for Jews in Europe

Helsinki 19 July, 2012  – European Coalition for Israel expressed on Thursday its condolences to the families of the victims of the terror attack in Burgas, Bulgaria where on Wednesday seven people were reported dead and thirty others injured in a terror attack on a bus carrying Israeli tourists. The rise of anti-Semitism in Sweden needs to be stopped in time

While official Sweden is busy celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg, the southern city of Malmö has become a no-go zone for the Jews of Sweden. Furthermore, in the city of Budapest in Hungary, where Wallenberg saved Jews from the Nazis, neo-fascists have once again become a force to be reckoned with in national politics. (more…)

European funding behind media campaign against Israel

Brussels – European governments funded an anti-Israeli NGO “Breaking the silence” which accused the Israeli army of committing war crimes in Gaza during its “Operation Cast Lead”. Sweden, Netherlands, France, UK and Spain were among governments which supported the campaign. (more…)
