Condolences to the families of the victims in Toulouse and concern over remarks made by the EU High Representative

ECI 21 March 2012

On Tuesday, the European Coalition for Israel expressed its condolences and deepest sympathy with the families of the victims of the brutal murder in Toulouse and with the Jewish community in Toulouse and in Europe.

- It is a profound tragedy when Jewish children can no longer live in safety in Europe. Last week the European Coalition for Israel organised a conference with several members of the European Parliament in Brussels to talk about the Arab Spring, and what it means for Europe and Israel. This meeting showed that the Arab Spring presents Europe with a huge challenge. There is a lot of chaos in the region. People are confused.
