By Rev Willem Glashouwer.. We have to study the larger end-time picture, before placing  the Middle Eastern wars under the magnifying glass. Then we will know where we are heading for. The unfolding of this phase of world history is at hand. We are rapidly approaching the appearance of the final world empire. Everything that once was in the Biblical Empires of the past (Daniel 2) will be appearing once again on the world-scene, all united and condensed within this final empire. (more…)

Focus on the future (5-12)

What will the future hold? The future of the world, the future of the nations. Only God can tell, and he has revealed what will happen in the Bible, through the prophets of Israel. There are many unfulfilled prophecies. We have been talking about the wars coming to the Middle East, about the destruction of Damascus, being the capital of Syria. We hear about an attack on Egypt. We read about a first ring around Israel, that suddenly will attack, in Psalm 83. We have talked about Ezekiel 38 and 39, when Russia and other nations, like a big ring around Israel, will suddenly attack Israel. (more…)

The Kingdom of God: on earth?

The book of Daniel chapter 2 tells us about a different kingdom that will be established on earth. Where will God Almighty establish his Kingdom? Will God do this with and for the Israelites, the Christians, other peoples? And what will be its purpose? (more…)
