By Rev Willem J.J. Glashouwer.. Is the New Covenant really made with the Church? When do we hear for the first time about the New Covenant? Has this New Covenant already been made or is it still music of the future? What do you think? What is the first time that Jesus talks about the New Covenant? Since Abraham not one Covenant has been made with the Church. All the Covenants have been made with Israel, also the New Covenant. When and where was the Holy Spirit poured out on the Gentiles? How could this be? What does it mean? You know the signs of the weather. Do you also know the signs of the times? Can you understand what is going on in the world and why? Does Jesus also speak about a weather forecast and understanding the signs of the times? Why was Jesus welcomed into Jerusalem in such an enthusiastic way? Why was He so popular? Why were the expectations of the crowd so high? The city and the Temple were going to be destroyed. The disciples wanted to know when this would happen and what would be the sign of His coming and of the end of the age. What did Jesus answer? By who was Jesus really executed and killed? Who was really responsible for His death? Why did He come into this world? These and many more questions will be answered by Rev Willem J.J. Glashouwer in this part (6-10) of “Biblical Reflections on Israel”.
