Focus on the future (1-12)

Rev. Willem Glashouwer Thursday 30 August 2012 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share by email Printer friendly

People are living their lives and are concerned about their plans and the things they encounter in everyday life. But the future is coming towards us and in order to be prepaired for it we really should look at the prophecies of the Bible. Because the Bible is the only book that really speaks very clearly about the things that happen in the future. Jesus speaks of the signs of the times in Matthew 24. One of the greatest signs of the endtimes is that the Gospel will be preached until the end of the earth and then the end will come. Not the end of the world, but the end of this phase of world History. Then the next phase, the phase of the Kingdom will come. And we are the generation that see it all happen. Jesus says: “watch the figtree”. The Jews are returning to the promised land. It looks as if God is speeding up history. More and more towards His goal, the coming of the Kingdom and the King of that Kingdom. Isaiah 2:2. Rev. Willem Glashouwer teaches about the signs of the time and the return of the Lord. Peace will flow forth from Jerusalem and cover the earth and war will be no more! Jesus will rule over planet earth, what a glorious future! You can be part of it, if you put your faith and your trust on Jesus!

  1. James Forrestal says:

Is anyone else supremely concerned that Israel is surrounded by 140 million bloodthirsty Moslems bent on its annihilation?

How can we as believers be nonchalant, indifferent or unconcerned?

In my Lutheran Church, week in and week out I hear a simple encouragement sermon that have no prophetic significance, doctrine or substance: pure milk!

I have been a believer for 42 years: I need MEAT!

I have tried to help the Pastor and congregation see that replacement theology is unbiblical and will end up in spiritual shipwreck, but I am mostly ignored.

At least I can come here and listen to Pastors Glashouwer or Lambert and be thrilled hearing the Prophetic Word.

We are so close to the Lord’s coming!!!

The Moslem nations are undergoing upheavals that look to be setting the stage for a Sunni-Shiite showdown out of which Anti Christ will arise!

I am watching events in the Middle East closely: especially an Iranian invasion of its Sunni neighbors which will result in the removal of world economic stability and a Sunni counterattack and defeat of Iran led by Turkey.

As this new Sunni confederation coalesces, the Man of Sin will arise: the Assyrian, the Devil incarnate: a Counterfeit Son: imagine it! the Son of Satan himself. He will unify the Islamic empire into a Resurrected Caliphate with one purpose: the final solution to the “Jewish Problem”.

Christian: Which side will you be on? Are you with Israel or are you with the Terrorists? There is no neutral ground!

Thank you Brothers and Sisters for this Forum: I need someplace to relieve the burden on my heart for Israel, the Church and humanity in general.

Isaiah 62.1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning.

Thanks again for letting my share!

God bless. Be encouraged. Uphold the Light! Rejoice in the knowledge of our soon Coming King: The LORD JESUS CHRIST!

  2. Brother Paul says:

Agree, James. So many think that the pope is antichrist: he is an antichrist but I too believe that Antichrist will rise from islam (we need a new word for them; I suggest we start with the arabic word for ‘deception’).
There is no neutral ground. We will all be asked the question Peter was asked in the courtyard, and if we answer wrongly it will be our eternal destiny at stake and the Lord’s glory too.
Sorry but I am a posttribulationist who has come to this position through reading Scripture alone, with the Spirit’s guidance. The home group I go to is discussing this issue at the moment, I hope some will change their minds about this in due course.
