It is no exaggeration to say that all the preaching and teaching of the Bible is focused on the coming of the kingdom of God in relation with the coming of the Messiah, the King of the kingdom. The psalms and the prophets, Jesus and the apostles – they all dream of the coming kingdom of the God of Israel in his only begotten Son the Messiah, when the shalom and the justice of God will cover the earth and all mankind will serve and praise the living eternal God and his Son.

And more and more we are discovering that we are on the way to that glorious kingdom, and that the people and the land of Israel play a major role in that process.

The kingdom approaches
The beginning of the return and restoration of Israel that we are now witnessing is a sign that the kingdom is approaching, and that the coming of the Messiah – or, as we Christians say, the return of Jesus Christ  – is imminent. It is exciting to read the prophets from the perspective of Israel and the kingdom. We have the privilege to live in exciting times, now we witness the beginning of the fulfilling of a lot of prophecies concerning the people and the land of Israel. These times are really prophetic times.

Do you believe in miracles? Are you curious to see the signs of God in this world? Well, read your Bible and follow the news, especially concerning Israel and Jerusalem. And pray for an open heart to mark the deeds of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is amazing to see how He shows the truth of His Word. The kingdom is approaching!

What do you think of the book ‘things to come’ by Dwight Pentecost? have you read it ?

I have not read enough of your material to know, but i hope to soon, and i hope that it along the lines of what i am learning, brcause what Mr Pentecsost teaches makes sense to me in the way very few others have.
